Languedoc-Roussillon, located in the South of France, is a region favoured both by its climate and by the agriculture that defines it; particularly wine-growing which has been a vital feature of local activity over the centuries, especially in recent years.
The types of vine suited to this land which is made up of diverse soils, full of aromatic surprises, flourish thanks to its location and to the farming traditions of its local population. Local, colourful personalities have long dedicated their lives to wine-growing in the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
“Domaine Aubrespy” offers wine-lovers vintages with strong personalities. “Domaine Aubrespy” is among the estates (domaines), farmhouses (mas) and castles (châteaux) which all claim, quite rightly, to produce very different vintages. This diversity is what makes the wealth of the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
Jacques Aubrespy is the direct heir to the family estate and farms dozens of hectares. He devotes all his energy to his vines and loves associations which spring from love as much as from reason. He places quality above quantity and joins his wide knowledge of wine-growing to his taste for assembling different types of vine. He also has the good sense to work closely with a wine expert throughout the year.
He supervises the ploughing, the pruning and the care of the vines. He organises and takes part in the harvest from the grape-picking to the pressing and the maturing of his wines. Jacques Aubrespy and his estate hold great surprises! The Viognier, a white wine, is a true delight and his red wines have started to win awards and medals. His range of wines will certainly please wine-lovers and satisfy their curiosity.
